The Goat is a software and hardware system to present all functionality via:
a web interface that has:
- public access to some facilities
- access to additional facilities for registered users via a login
an interface via mobile phones to some facilities that need to be accessed via mobile phones or tablets
some hardware (IOT) components that provide various combinations of:
Sensors
- Position: mainly via GPS
- State of charge of the hardware
- Ambient temperature and humidity
- Water turbidity, CO2 level
- Still and motion images
- Actuators
- Camera control
- Mains relay: switching a 240 volt mains device on and off (eg a battery charger)
